Memorial Services for Joan Roberts Tilson of Summerville, Georgia, formerly of Sandy Springs, Georgia, will be announced at a later date. Mason Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Tilson, 89, died Feb. 18, 2015, at Floyd Medical Center. She was born on April 13, 1925, in Brookhaven to John M. and Vivian Sauls Roberts.

Preceding her in death were her parents; loving husband of 53 years, Billy B. Tilson; son, Mark Howard Tilson; daughter, Vivian Elaine Tilson; brother, Johnny Roberts; and twin sister, Matilde Roberts.

Survivors are her daughter, Lisa Tilson.
