Funeral Services for James Lee Magee of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, at Beulah Chapel M.B. Church with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rev. Charles Caston will officiate. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, from noon until 7 p.m. at Tyler Funeral Home. The family will be present from 6 until 7 p.m.

Mr. Magee, 64, died Jan. 21, 2015, at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital. He was born on Dec. 14, 1950, in Brookhaven to J.C. Magee and Janie Lee Hill Magee.

He was a bail bondsman for Magee Bonding Company.

Preceding him in death were his father, J.C. Magee; and brother, John Magee.

Survivors are his mother, Janie Lee Hill Magee; wife, Linda Richardson Magee; son, James Lee Magee Jr.(Sandraie), all of Brookhaven; brothers, Tommie Hill of Virginia Beach, Virginia (Carolyn), and David Lenoir of Brookhaven; sister-in-law, Maybelline Magee of Gouche; sisters, Karen Magee Henderson (Harold) of Brookhaven; Scherry Magee Godbolt of Brookhaven; and three grandchildren.
