William ‘Craig’ Smith

Funeral Services for William “Craig” Smith of Wesson are 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services with burial in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Services.

Mr. Smith, 54, died Nov. 29, 2014, at his residence. He was born in Montebello, California to William Lee “W.L.” Smith and Peggy Jo Nations Smith.

He worked for Sanderson Farms as a maintenance supervisor and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. He also coached kid’s little league ball teams and was their biggest no. 1 fan. He was a heart transplant recipient on Nov. 26, 1995.

Preceding him in death were his mother; and two brothers, Scotty Smith and Chris Smith.

Survivors are his wife, Rebecca Smith; his father; son, Jordan Lee Smith; daughter, Abbey Gayle Smith Mahaffey and husband, Andy; sister, Robyn Smith; and an aunt, Dot Rollins.
