Funeral Services for Thelma Snyder Smith of Brookhaven are noon on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, at Friendship Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Mrs. Smith, 95, died Nov. 18, 2014, at her residence. She was born on Nov. 7, 1919, to Prentis Lee Snyder and Lona Watts Snyder.

She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, James Russell Smith; son, Cameron Smith; son-in-law, Bobby “Pete” Beavers; daughter, Brenda Sue Smith; great-grandson, Brooks Smith; brother, Versie Snyder; and sisters, Verna Snyder Vaughan and Aronell Snyder Cade.

Survivors are her daughter, Connie Smith Beavers, and daughter-in-law, Linda A. Smith, both of Brookhaven; five grandchildren, Kimberly Smith Mitchell and husband, Wayne, of Madison, Mark Smith and wife, Kathy, Jason Smith and wife, Heather, Michelle Farling, Carrie Brown and husband, Jeremy, all of Brookhaven; and 11 great grandchildren.

Memorials can be made to Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund in Brookhaven.
