Funeral Services for Mina S. McCoy of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home 894 Natchez Drive.

Mrs. McCoy, 94, died Nov. 14, 2014, 2014, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was born on April 12, 1920 in Anson County, North Carolina to William Jonathan Sikes and Linda Kelly Sikes.

Mrs. McCoy was a member of Pearl Haven Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband R.J. McCoy; one sister and four brothers.

Survivors are her son Richard Eugene McCoy and his wife, Toni, of Pace, Florida; her daughters, Helen Irene McCoy and Marilyn Inez McCoy, both of Brookhaven; her sister-in-law Mavis McCoy of Pinola; two grandchildren, Terrissia Knippers and husband, Brian, of Corinth and Richard Scott McCoy and wife, Shelley, of Brandon; three great-grandchildren, Kathryn Knippers, Blake Knippers and Anna McCoy; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
