Funeral Services for Ernest Lewis Davis of Bogue Chitto are 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014, at New Zion Union M.B. Church in Bogue Chitto with burial in Bogue Chitto Cemetery. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday, Nov. 10, 2014, from noon until 7 p.m. at Tyler Funeral Home with the family present from 6 until 7 p.m.

Preceding him in death were his father, Excell Davis; grandparents, Erzeal and Jessie Davis, Jodie and Cora Holmes.

Survivors are his mother, Dorothy Davis of Bogue Chitto; daughter, Ebony Moore of Taylor, Michigan; grandson, Donovan Moore of Taylor, Michigan; three brothers, Thomas Davis and Jerrod Davis, both of Bogue Chitto, and the Rev. Erzeal Davis (Charlotte) of Columbia; three sisters, Sandra Martin of Summit, Tabatha Jackson (Willie) of Bogue Chitto, Sherry Richardson (Reginal) of Edmond, Oklahoma; god-sister, Cresandra May of Bogue Chitto; god-brother, Patrick Smith (Janet) of Loyd Star; god-daughter, Latrice Bass (Gerald) of Clarksville, Tennessee; five aunts, Mary Nell Thornton of New Orleans, Louisiana, Emma Smith, of Brookhaven, Della Harrison, Irma Holmes and Thelma Galloway (Frank), all of Bogue Chitto; two uncles, R. L. Davis of New Orleans, Louisiana, the Rev. Robert Charles Holmes (Lillian) of Toms River, New Jersey; and a host of other relatives and friends.
