Funeral Services for Janelle Pinter Buntyn of Union are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at Lucern Congregational Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Revs. Ed Dickerson and Howell Thrash will be officiating. Milling Funeral Home in Union is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, from 5:30 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ms. Buntyn, 78, died July 30, 2014, at Laird Hospital.
She was a member of Lucern Congregational Methodist Church for over 50 years and longtime pianist. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, playing piano and crossword puzzles.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Cull and Laura Pinter; husband, Eugene Buntyn; and brother, Sherrell Pinter.
Survivors are her daughters, Lisa Bankston and husband, Kenny Joe, of Union and Nancy Jo Maples and husband, Mark, of Lucedale and Gina Riley and husband, Patrick, of Brookhaven; grandchildren, Ken Bankston and wife, Nichole, Deanna Rush and husband, Hugh, Chris Bankston and wife, Amanda, Gus Maples, Mollie Margaret Maples, Ben Maples, Newt Riley and Edie Riley; great-grandchildren, Chandler, Bankston and Luke Rush; McKinlee and Noah Bankston; brother, David Pinter and wife, Nena, of Wade; sister-in-laws, Sara Pinter Mason and Margaret Buntyn Gilmore; brother-in-law, Joe Buntyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Ken Bankston, Chris Bankston, Gus Maples, Ben Maples, Newt Riley, Hugh Rush and Chandler Rush.
Memorials may be made to Lucern Congregational Methodist Church, 54 Argus Vance Road, Union, MS 39365, for the restoration of stain glass windows.

Memorial Services for Bonnie “Michaelle” Davis of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 4, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service.
Visitation is Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.
Mrs. Davis, 51, died July 28, 2014, at Kentwood Manor Nursing Home. She was born on Sept. 25, 1962 to James B. and Diane Hart Davis.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Brookhaven.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents, O.L. and Mercedes Davis and Hoyte Hart; aunt, Gloria D’Aquin; and nephew, Landen Grisham.
Survivors are her parents; daughters, Taylore Claire Davis and Ryann Diane Davis; sister, Cecilia Lynn Grisham; grandmother, Lois Hart; aunt, Connie Hart Boyd, Ruth Bennett and Judi Buchanan; uncles, David and Deron Hart; and niece, Melanie Grisham.
