Funeral services for Stacy Ruffin Oberschmidt are 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Faith Presbyterian Church. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Oberschmidt, 47, died Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center, Jackson. She was born on March 22, 1966, to W.H. “Billy” Ruffin, Jr. and Juarene Killingsworth Ruffin.

She was retired as a Real Estate Broker and was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church, Krewe of Ceres and a graduate of Philadelphia High School and Mississippi State University where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Byron Chadwick Oberschmidt; sons, Byron Ruffin Oberschmidt and Nickolas Ryan Helmstetter; daughter, Olivia Day Oberschmidt; sisters, Janet Thrash and husband, Larry, Molly Turner and husband, Tom, Martha Hancock and husband, Charlie, all of Philadelphia, Lucy Morgan and husband, Kevin, of Madison; 14 nieces and nephews; seven great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
