Funeral Services for Frances Virginia Hamby Rende of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel with burial in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rende, 88, of Brookhaven, died on Nov. 26, 2013, at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb.

She was born on Sept. 2, 1925, in Madisonville, Ky., to Richard and Barbara Hamby.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Brookhaven.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Rende; daughter Sandra Moore and granddaughter, Crystal Henson; two brothers, J.R. Hamby and Jack Hamby; and two sisters, Carrie Huber and Kathleen Chrisman.

She is survived by sons, Rodney Bridge of Arkansas and Kim Bridge of Brookhaven. She is also survived by sisters, Hilda Bourdeau of Georgia, Jessie Badeaux of Alabama, Bettie Garbini of Pennsylvania; and brothers, Bernard Hamby of Florida, Rod Hamby of South Carolina and C.D. Hamby of Alabama; and six grandchildren; Jessie Epps, Tyler Bridge, Nicholas Bridge, Scott Bridge, Tonya Douglas and Chris Estes; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
