Funeral services for Joseph Lee Landreneau of Bogue Chitto are 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel with burial in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home..
Mr. Landreneau, 76, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013. He was born in Ville Platte, La. on Jan. 20, 1937, to Elie Landreneau and Celestine Gonzales Andrus.
He retired from Greyhound as a shipping agent after 28 years and was self-employed owner of Louisiana Hotshot SVC . He was a member of New Heights Baptist Church, John A. Quitman Masons, and a Wahabi Shriners greeter.
Preceding him in death were his parents; stepfather, Elton Andrus; brother, Pierre Landreneau; and half-sister, Pauline Fontenot.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Landreneau; daughters, Vennice Ann Landreneau, Angelia Bercegeay and husband Dwain, and Susan Lanette Rayborn and Dave Collette; three grandchildren, Sierra Rayborn, Michael Rayborn, Jr., and Bailey Bercegeay.
