Private funeral services for Norman Lidia of Ruth will be held at a later date.

Mr. Lidia, 82, died Oct. 6, 2013, at home. He was born in Claud, Texas, on Aug. 19, 1931.

He was retired from Fluor Corporation Construction Company.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Lynard Knight Lidia and Mary Keller Lidia; sons, Jerry Lidia and Terry Lidia; daughter, Sherry Brewer, and brother, Morris Lidia.

Survivors are his wife, Edith P. Lidia; sisters Barbara Clark of Dallas, Texas and Pat Houston of San Angelo, Texas; three grandchildren, Tina Brewer Hill, David Wayland Brewer and Nathan James Lidia and three great-grandchildren Evan Ray Golka, Zachary Wayland Wilson Hill and Bailey Brewer.
