Funeral services for May Bell Thomas of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. on Friday, July 19, at Zion Chapel A.M.E. Church in Caseyville, with burial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Thomas, 70, died July 12, 2013 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was born in Lincoln County on May 19, 1943.
