Funeral services for Christopher Austin White of Brookhaven are 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, at Friendship Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home and Wednesday from 9 until 10 a.m. at the church.

Mr. White, 18, died July 13, 2013 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born in Mississippi on Aug. 21, 1994.

He was a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death was his maternal grandmother, Martha Thompson.

Survivors are his father, Jesse Dewayne White; mother and stepfather, Melissa Harris McKenzie and Curtis McKenzie; sister, Faith Danielle White; grandfather, James Harris; grandmother, Judy Harris; grandfather, Joe Burt Turner; grandparents, J.E. White and Carolyn White, Robert and Debra Lee and Rob and Angela McKenzie; great-grandmother, Patsy McKenzie; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
