Funeral services for Gary Bennett Arceneaux Sr. of Monticello are 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, are Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Fair River Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Arceneaux, 67, died April 3, 2013 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born on Feb. 16, 1946 to William Arceneaux and Lona Ann Cooley.

He worked in the oil field and was a member of Fair River Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents, five brothers and one sister.

Survivors are his wife, Winnie Faye Arceneaux; son, Gary Bennett Arceneaux Jr.; stepson, Gary Paul Watts; stepdaughters, Tracey Brown and Charlotte Williams; brothers, Daniel Beavers, O’Dale Beavers and Steve Melancon; sister, Ann Young; and eight grandchildren.
