Funeral services for Earcle McMichael Douglas of Waynesboro are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, with burial in Antioch Cemetery. The Rev. Chad Ballard will officiate.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Douglas, 101, died Feb. 20, 2013 at Pine View Health Care Center. She was born in Wayne County on Oct. 11, 1911 to John McMichael and Abbie McMichael.

She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Primitive Baptist Church in Waynesboro.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Cairy Douglas, her parents and five brothers.

Survivors are her sons, Perry Douglas and wife, Brenda, of Laurel, and Joe M. Douglas and wife, Faye, of Brookhaven; daughter, Mary Williams and husband, Truman, of Waynesboro; brothers, Jeff McMichael of Waynesboro and Jesse McMichael of Quincy, Fla.; sisters, Mary DeStefano of Fort Collins, Colo., Thelma Jordan of Ellisville, Eunice Hearn of Soso and O’Mera Dail of Buckatunna; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
