MOBILE, Ala. – The Co-Lin Wolfpack split a season-opening doubleheader with Bishop State. They won the opener 5-3 in a 4-run, seventh-inning rally and absorbed a 2-0 shutout in Saturday’s finale.

Co-Lin’s Wednesday twinbill at Baton Rouge Community College has been moved to Thursday, due to the wet weather. The Wolves play Baton Rouge at noon and Galveston (Texas) College at 2:45.

“We turned five double plays on the day,” said Co-Lin coach Keith Case. “Coming from behind to win that first game was big for us.

“We need to work on our at-bats,” Case added. “Bishop State threw a couple of soft throwers against us. We didn’t make very good adjustments.”
