Funeral services for Gladys Walker Case Oliver, longtime resident of Lincoln County, are 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive, with burial in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Oliver, 95, died Nov. 20, 2012, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was born on Feb. 14, 1917, to Ollie and Minnie Britt Walker.
She was a Christian, caring woman, a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a former cook at New Sight School. She retired from Stahl-Urban Manufacturing Co.
Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Jerry Case; two husbands, Charles Clyde Case and David Oliver; three sisters; and three brothers.
Survivors are her daughters, Betty Jean James, of Houma, La., and Linda Fay Case Williams and husband, Tillman, of Florence; brother, Wilton Walker and wife, Elois; sister, Earlene Allen; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
