Funeral services for Ernest Watkins, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, at Avery Chapel A.M.E. Church, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Friday from noon until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mr. Watkins, 64, died Sept. 6, 2012, at his home. He was born in Brookhaven on Aug. 2, 1948.
