Funeral services for Frieda George Hutson, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, with burial in Catholic Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home, with rosary at 7 p.m.

     Mrs. Hutson, 95, died July 14, 2012, at her home. She was born on Feb. 15, 1917, to Amien and Latifie Ann Romanus George.

     Frieda was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and a wonderful friend to all.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Clarence Hutson; son, James Andrew “Andy” Hutson; and siblings, Amien T. George, Adeline G. Attaya, Julia Ilsey, Catherine T. George and Lily M. Martinson.

     Survivors are her daughter, Teresa Ann “T.A.” Boyd and friend, Thomas May, of Brookhaven; grandsons, Richard Wilson Boyd II and wife, Erin, of Buda, Texas, and Ryan Hutson Boyd, of Atlanta, Ga.; great-granddaughter, Beatrice Eliza Boyd, of Buda, Texas; brother, Willie A. George and wife, Claudette, of Brookhaven; special niece, Mary Terry, of Brookhaven; and special friend, Brenda Simmons, of Brookhaven.
