Funeral services for Mildred Hynum, of Brookhaven, were 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, at Glenwood Funeral Home in Port Gibson, with burial in Winter Green Cemetery. The Rev. Lynn Moak officiated.

     Mrs. Hynum, 87, died May 6, 2012, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was born on Dec. 9, 1924, to Robert and Jewell Hynum, in Claiborne County, where she lived most of her life.

     Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother and sister.

     Survivors are her brother, Linton Columbus Hynum, of Monroe, La.; sisters, Edna Earline Goza, of Pattison, Betty Mae Wade, of Pearl, Margaret Brown, of Brookhaven, and Edna Raines, of Vicksburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
