Funeral services for Janice Price Wallace, of Bogue Chitto, are 2 p.m. on Monday, April 23, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive, with burial in Bogue Chitto Cemetery.

     Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mrs. Wallace, 80, died April 21, 2012, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was born in Bogue Chitto on Jan. 22, 1932, to Jesse James and Winnie Burns Price.

     She was co-founder of Wallace’s Texaco in Bogue Chitto, which is still in business today.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Elen Durwood Wallace; brothers, John William Price and James Lee Price; and sisters, Beth Comer, Jessie B. Price and Melda Clark.

     Survivors are her sons, David Wallace and Katie Malone, of Bogue Chitto, and Dale Wallace and wife Kathy, of White Castle; daughters, Janie Sisco and husband, Jerry, of Bogue Chitto, and Susie Williams, of Brookhaven; sister, Virginia Faye Wallace, of Bogue Chitto; and grandchildren, Mickey Wallace, Joe Dan Leggett, Marsha McCaffrey, Benji Sisco, Jana Moak, Haley Walker, Austin Williams, Jamie Sisco, Luke Wallace and Emily Hymel.
