Funeral services for Vera M. Walker, of Bogue Chitto, are 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, at Community Funeral Services with burial in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.

     Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mrs. Walker, 81, died March 8, 2012, at her home. She was born in Lawrence County on Jan. 9, 1931, to W.A. and Analo White Prather.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers; and five sisters.

     Survivors are her sons, Wade Lambert, Bruce Cutrer and Johnny Cutrer; daughter, Marilyn Johnson; brothers, Kenneth Prather, Carroll Prather, Alton Prather, David Prather and Hugh V. Prather; sister, Lenora Rials; six grandchildren, James Thomas, Roy Thomas and wife, Ashley, Wade Lambert Jr. and friend, Brittany Crosby, Corey Johnson, Drew Cutrer and Clay Cutrer; four great-grandchildren, Matt Thomas, Kaycee Brooke Thomas, Rorie Nicole Thomas and Ashlynn Marie Thomas; several nieces and nephews, including special niece and caretaker, Christina Martinez, and special nieces, Caylee and Callie Prather.
