Funeral services for Loretha ZimmermanSmith Thomas, of Wesson, are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, at St.Peter Rock M.B. Church in Wesson, with burial in the churchcemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Thomas died Nov. 19, 2011, at her home. She was born inBeauregard, to Ire Zimmerman and Ruth Sellers Zimmerman.

    She was retired and a member of St. Peter Rock M.B. Church whereshe was an avid fundraiser.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Annie Mae Bivens,Pearl Butler, and Candace Mae Barlow; brother, Leroy Zimmerman;grandson, Que’bec Smith; and husbands, John H Smith Sr. and ArleeThomas Sr.

    Survivors are her children, Thelma Hilliard, of Brookhaven, BarbaraJ. King, of Hazlehurst, Johnnie Ruth Williams and husband, Morris,of St. Louis, James E. Smith Sr. and wife, Francine, of Wesson,Larry L. Smith Sr. and wife, Betty, of Wesson, John H. Smith Jr.,of Wesson, Patricia S. Parker, of Starkville, Sandra L. Smith, ofWesson, Anthony Smith, of Wesson, Tracy M. Smith and wife, Christi,of Hazlehurst, Timothy Smith, of Texas, Tina L. Brown, Valerie D.Smith, Michael H. Smith, Arlene T. Thomas and Brian K. Thomas, allof Wesson; sisters, Katie Ellis, of Indianapolis, and Nellie RuthBrown, of Mansfield, La.; 49 grandchildren; manygreat-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and otherrelatives.
