Funeral services for Betty Cox Golmon, ofBogue Chitto, are 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 17, at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service, with burial in Mt. Moriah Baptist ChurchCemetery.

    Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Golmon, 67, died Oct. 14, 2011, at Mississippi Baptist MedicalCenter in Jackson. She was born in Mississippi on June 17, 1944, toVirgil Cox and Olivette Summers Cox.

    She was a general manager’s assistant with Wal-Mart Distributionand a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

    Preceding her in death were her parents. 

    Survivors are her husband, Horace E. Golmon; daughter, Georgia L.Golmon, of Bogue Chitto; sisters, Ellen Martin and husband, Bobby,and Nancy Buckels and husband, Willie, all of Bogue Chitto;nephews, Jimmy Martin, Virgil Martin, Josh Buckels, David Golmonand Jason Golmon; nieces, Dehna Martin Coghlan and Jessica BuckelsLangley; and great nephews and nieces and other family members.
