Funeral services for Dennis David FerrellSr., of Brookhaven, were 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, at RiverwoodFamily Funeral Service.

    Mr. Ferrell, 69, died Sept. 29, 2011, at his home. He was born onMarch 27, 1942, to Edgar and Jerley Ferrell.

    He was a member of the U.S. Army, and was retired as an electronicstechnician.

    Preceding him in death were his parents.

    Survivors are his sons, David Ferrell, Dannie Ferrell and JoeFerrell; daughter, Penny Ferrell; sister, Zelma Hawkins; sixgrandchildren; his close friends, Jerry Clinton “Cotton” Smith,Donnie Lambert, Liz Franklin; and a host of other friends andfamily.
