Funeral services for Willie T. Porter, ofSummit, are 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, at Faith Temple Church ofGod in Christ, with burial in the church cemetery. WilliamsMortuary is in charge of arrangements. Officiating ministers arethe Rev. Oliver Smith and the Rev. R.K. Benson.

    Visitation is Thursday from 1 until 6 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

    Mr. Porter, 89, died Sept. 15, 2011, at his home. He was born inLincoln County on Oct. 17, 1921.
