Funeral services for Roy Eugene Smith, ofBrookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Monday, July 18, at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service Chapel with burial in Macedonia Baptist ChurchCemetery in Brookhaven.

    Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mr. Smith, 92, died July 16, 2011, at Forrest General Hospital inHattiesburg. He was born in Mississippi on Dec. 31, 1918, to Ray P.Smith and Celeste White Smith.

    He was a retired automotive and small engine repair mechanic. Hewas a member of Little Bahala Baptist Church and a veteran of WorldWar II.

    Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Bonnie Smith;and his sister, Nell Gaunt.

    Survivors are his stepson, Harry L. Case and wife, Rachel; hisstepdaughter, Joyce Fairchild and husband, Roy; five grandchildren;seven great-grandchildren; and a niece and a nephew.

    Memorials or gifts may be made to the Macedonia Baptist ChurchBereavement Fund.
