Funeral services for Virgil Gerald Crosby,of Brookhaven, are 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, at BrookhavenFuneral Home on Natchez Drive with burial in Shiloh Baptist ChurchCemetery in Lawrence County.

    Visitation is Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the serviceat the funeral home.

    Mr. Crosby, 65, died July 12, 2011, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. He was born on Nov. 16, 1945.

    He was a member of Springhill Baptist Church in It.

    Preceding him in death was his father, Estus M. Crosby.

    Survivors are his mother, Willie Crosby, of Brookhaven; and hissisters, Magdalene Case and Minnie Case, both of Brookhaven, andRachel Bland, of Hazlehurst.
