Mildred Britt Smith, 95, of Wesson, passed away Wednesday, June15, 2011. She was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30until 1:30 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Mt. Zion BaptistChurch in Wesson with burial in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Smith was a retiree of Stahl-Urban Garment Factory inBrookhaven. She was a seamstress and line supervisor. She was afaithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Smith; her son,Randall Smith; and six siblings.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter-in-law, Becky Smith, ofBrandon; her granddaughters, Leslie (Joe) Hill, of Madison, and Dr.Penni Smith, of Brandon; her grandson, Spencer (April) Smith, ofBrandon; and her great-grandchildren, Rachel Cabell, of Brandon,Ross Cabell and Eva Hill, both of Madison, and Mason, Sawyer andSimon Smith, all of Brandon.
