Funeral services for David Kentrell Williams, of Brookhaven, are2 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, at Center Street Church of Christ inBrookhaven. Bro. Jacques D. Pittman is officiating. WilliamsMortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Friday from 1 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Therewill be a family hour from 7 until 8 p.m.
Mr. Williams, 35, died April 4, 2011, at his residence. He was bornon April 5, 1975, to David and Betty Berry.
He was a 1994 graduate of Brookhaven High School and was a memberof the high school football team. He was a volunteer fire fighterfor New Sight Fire Dept. Some of his job descriptions includedjanitorial work, a truck driver for Swift and a security guardduring Hurricane Katrina.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Eddie and GertrudeWilliams and Dave and Katie Mae Jackson; two aunts; three uncles;and two special cousins, Eddie Donnell Williams and Raymond”Poopie” Williams.
Survivors are his parents, David and Betty Berry; his wife, Teneal(BoBo) Williams; his children, Lanesha and David Williams, Jr., ofPeoria, Ill., and Davonte, Brendesha, Kemar, Lucian, Damarcus,Marlena, Rosanna, Tatiyana and J.J., all of Brookhaven; twobrothers, Marreo Torran Williams and Jackie Marrell Williams, andhis wife, April, of Brookhaven; a special aunt, Helen Graham ofBrookhaven; ten other aunts and nine uncles of Brookhaven andPeoria, Ill.; a special niece and nephew, Damarell and JakariaWilliams; another niece, Amaria; and nephews, Malachi and Marreo,Jr.; and numerous other relatives and friends.
