Funeral services for Sara Inez Williams Smith, of Wesson, are 1p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel, with burial in Easthaven Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Wednesday from 4 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Smith, 80, died Dec. 6, 2010, at St. Dominic-Jackson MemorialHospital in Jackson. She was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 22,1930, to Jim W. Williams and Lillian Gray.

She was a homemaker and a member of Mission Hill Baptist Church inWesson.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Jim and Lillian Williams;her brother, Toxie Williams; and her sisters, Susie Lee Smith andDoris Townsend.

Survivors are her son, Larry Russell of Brookhaven; her daughter,Linda Allen and husband Jack of Wesson; her stepdaughter, SuzetteDurr and husband Jimmy of Brookhaven; her brothers, Junior Williamsand wife Charlene, John Loyd Williams and wife Betty, and TommyWilliams and wife, Bertill, all of Brookhaven; her sisters,Earnestine Holmes of Brookhaven, Evonne “Shorty” Williams ofBrookhaven, Joyce Moore of Alabama, Ruby Dale Magee and Clair-RuthPittman of Louisiana; her grandchildren, Jason Gill, Brandon Allen,Lee Allen and wife Stephanie, Wesley Gill and wife Angie, RyanAllen and wife Faith, Blake Allen and wife Jessica, Lana Swarts,Rhonda Rhodes, Melissa Crosby, all of Brookhaven, and Leta AllenSearcy and husband Mel, of Ripley; her great-grandchildren, Lauryn,Devin, “Bubba,” Alabama, Gavin, Grayson, Landry, Molly, Grant,Carlie, Chas, Caleigh, Savanah, Briana, Drew, Sammy, Sara, Matt;her great-great-grandchild, Kaden; numerous nieces and nephews; andone former daughter-in-law, Mickey Russell.
