Funeral services for Lizzie Gatlin Rials, of Monticello, are 10a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel, with burial in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in FranklinCounty.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Gatlin, 82, died Nov. 29, 2010, at Lawrence County Hospital inMonticello. She was born in Mississippi on Oct. 5, 1928.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Lafitte Baptist Church inLafitte, La. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars inMarrero, La.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Charlie Lee and ModisMontgomery Lee; her first husband, Henry Brady Gatlin; her secondhusband, Whittier Earl Rials; one sister, Florell Beaudry; onebrother, Clifton Lee; and her infant daughter, Deanna MarieRials.

Survivors are her son, Claude Raymond Gatlin and wife, TanyaGatlin, of Brookhaven; her daughter, Flora Gatlin Smith andhusband, Roger Smith, of Monticello; her sister, Marie Rials ofJayess; her grandchildren, Samantha Parria of Marrero, KimPennington of Sontag, Brad Gatlin of Brookhaven, Lance Gatlin ofMonticello, Amber Helmke of Marrero, and Amber Westrope ofBrookhaven; her great-grandchildren, Lionel, Josh, and SavannaParria, Jayde Pennington, Kie and Chloe Gatlin, Christopher, Colby,Carter, and Channing Helmke, Layne Westrope, Braden Gatlin, TaylorSauls, and Chase and Addison Carver; and hergreat-great-granddaughter, Alexis Parria.
