Funeral services for Lemuel Leo “Lem” Murray, of McCall Creek,were 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5, at Arlington Baptist Church inBogue Chitto, with burial in the church cemetery. Bro. Keith Smithwill officiate. Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive was incharge of arrangements.

Visitation was Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Murray, 59, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 2, 2010, at hisresidence. He was born in Lincoln County on Aug. 26, 1951, toAlfred Murray and Cora Mae Hall Murray.

He was a field accountant with Miller Mechanical Services of NewYork. He was a member of Arlington Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his sister, Janice Allen;and two infant grandsons.

Survivors are his wife of 36 years, Jean Coghlan Murray, of McCallCreek; his son, Brant Murray, of McCall Creek; his daughter, KristyArnold and husband, Brad, of McCall Creek; his grandchildren,Trevor Murray, Abby Arnold, Taylor Murray and Kolt Darsey, all ofMcCall Creek; his nephew, Kevin Allen, of McCall Creek; and hisniece, Janet Halford, of McCall Creek.

Pallbearers are Kevin Allen, Jason Wallace, Clint Lewis, RyanCoghlan, Chris Souther and Randall Hatcher.

Honorary pallbearer is David Wallace.
