Graveside services for Doyce Edward “Eddie” Cleckler, ofBrookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 27, at Cleckler FamilyCemetery in Lincoln County. Brookhaven Funeral Home on NatchezDrive is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. Cleckler, 60, died Sept. 23, 2010, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center in Brookhaven. He was born in Harlingen, Texas, onJuly 11, 1950, to Doyce Elmer Cleckler and Faye Lula ClarkeCleckler.
He worked in the oil field as a subsea engineer. He was a memberof the Fair River Masonic Lodge.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and his sister, JoyceSmith.
Survivors are his stepmother, Mildred Cleckler, of Houma, La.;his sons, Doyce Houston Cleckler, of Brookhaven, and CameronJennings Cleckler, of Sumrall; his brother, Ted Cleckler, ofAbilene, Texas; his grandchildren, Brandon and Zachary Cleckler;and numerous nieces, nephews, stepbrothers and stepsisters.
