Funeral services for Tessie G. Dinelli Brown, of Natchez and anative of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11, at RoseHill Missionary Baptist Church in Natchez, with burial in CarverHeights Cemetery in Brookhaven. The Rev. Kenneth Stanton willofficiate. R.D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home in Natchez is incharge of arrangements.
Visitation is Friday from 4 until 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.until the time of the service. Both visitation services will beheld at the church.
Ms. Brown, 81, died Sept. 4, 2010, at Natchez Community Hospital.She was born in Brookhaven on Sept. 2, 1929, to Isaac Gearing andAlice Arnold.

She was a retired educator, having taught at S.V. Thompson andNorth Natchez High Schools, where her career spanned over 50 yearsof service. She received her B.S. degree in education from JacksonState University. She was a member of Rose Hill Missionary BaptistChurch, where she was a member of the choir.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Survivors include her sister, Aline McCarty, of Lansing, Mich.; hernieces, Virginia D. (Jerry) Earl, of Brookhaven, Shelia R.Truvillion, of Lansing, Jennifer D. (Samuel) Watson, of TheWoodlands, Texas, Samanthia Smith, of Brookhaven, Kathy M. (DanielIII) Sheriff, of Jackson, and Stephanie Truvillion, of Jackson; andmany nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
