Graveside services for Ruby Pearl Hardison, of Crutchfield, Ky.,are 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11, at Rock Springs Cemetery inCrutchfield. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Hardison, 89, died Sept. 9, 2010, at Countrybrook LivingCenter in Brookhaven. She was born in Tennessee on May 12, 1921, toHerman Nabors and Iva Potts Nabor.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of First United MethodistChurch in Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Herman and Iva Nabors; herhusband, W.G. Hardison; her son-in-law, Donald Curlin; hergrandson, Donnie Curlin; her sisters, Lanell Scholl, JaniceFletcher, Laverne Williams and Mozell Scholl; and her brother,Oscar Nabors.

Survivors are her son, Charles William Hardison and wife, Judy, ofFulton, Ky.; her daughters, Joyce G. Hughes and husband, Billy, ofBrookhaven, and Reta C. Carlton and husband, Eddie, of Dickson,Tenn.; her sister, Martha Hatfield, of South Fulton, Tenn.; hergrandchildren, Theresa Squires, Pamela Adkins, Rhonda Polk, AngelaHeggie, Jason Hardison and Jeffrey Carlton; 12 great-grandchildren;seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces andnephews.
