Funeral services for Ruby Nell Britt Burns, of Wesson, are 3p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 18, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Wessonwith burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home onNatchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m.until 1 p.m. at the funeral home and Wednesday from 2 p.m. untilthe time of the service at the church.

Mrs. Burns, 85, died Aug. 15, 2010, at Haven Hall Health CareCenter in Brookhaven. She was born in Lincoln County on May 3,1925, to Bennie F. Britt and Alice Minton Britt.

She was a retired factory worker. She was a member of Mt. ZionBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her son, Tony Burns; herbrothers, M.D. Britt, Burdette Britt and Charles Britt; and hersisters, Myrtice Thomas and Edith Presley.

Survivors are her husband, Quitman Burns, of Wesson; her son,Willie Burns and wife, Myra, of Wesson; her brothers, Jackie B.Britt, of Wesson, and David (B.B.) Britt, of Brandon; her sister,Anita Entrican, of Brookhaven; nine grandchildren; 16great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Burns, Roger Burns, Jerry Burns, CodyBurns, Jody Burns, Keith Calloway, Brian Barlow and TonyRobbins.
