Funeral services for Ethel Mae Hubbard Johnson, of Brookhavenand formerly of Alexandria, La., are 10 a.m. on Monday, July 12, atWilliams Mortuary Chapel with burial in Alexandria NationalCemetery in Alexandria.

Visitation is Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service atthe funeral home.

Mrs. Johnson, 88, died July 5, 2010, at Haven Hall Health CareCenter in Brookhaven. She was born in Alexandria on Oct. 20, 1921,to Paul Hubbard Sr. and Ella Hubbard.

She was retired.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brother, Paul HubbardJr.; her husband, Freddie Johnson; and her daughter, EllaHenderson.

Survivors are her devoted son-in-law, Arlustra “Pap” Henderson Jr.,of Brookhaven; her granddaughter, Nicole Wise and husband, Shane,of DeSoto, Texas; her grandson, Roderick Henderson and wife,Stephanie, of Brookhaven; her great-granddaughter, Celine Wise, ofDeSoto; her great-grandsons, Jalen Wise, of DeSoto, and RoderickHenderson II, of Brookhaven; her niece, Ella Ernestine, of Houston,Texas; and many other relatives and friends.
