Funeral services for Emmitte Shaw, of Jayess, are 11 a.m. onSaturday, July 10, at New Hope Baptist Church in Monticello, withburial in the church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello isin charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Shaw, 88, died July 7, 2010, at his residence. He was born inAmite County on Nov. 23, 1921.
