All-Star teams have been selected for the Lincoln County DixieYouth Baseball Major League. The dreams teams will compete in DYBsubdistrict tournaments, starting June 28. They’ll play a series ofpractice games as a prelude to the playoffs.

The 12-year-old subdistrict will be played at Brookhaven’s KeystonePark. The 11-year-old subdistrict will be hosted by Copiah Academyin Gallman.

Under DYB Southwest district rules, the teams will play “closedbases” instead of the O-Zone format that allows leadoffs and moreopportune base stealing.
