Funeral services for David Bramlette Franklin, of Brookhaven,are 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, at Pleasant Ridge Pentecostal Churchin Wesson. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from 4 until 9 p.m. at the church, and onWednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

Mr. Franklin, 59, died June 5, 2010, at the G.V. (Sonny) MontgomeryVA Medical Center in Jackson. He was born on Aug. 16, 1950, toCharles R. Franklin and Lilly May Franklin.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving with the 82nd Airborneand was a paramedic.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his granddaughter, EricaTownsend; and his brother, Charles Ray Franklin Jr.

Survivors are his son, Carl Daniel Franklin; his daughters, RebeccaLynn Tyler and Felicia Marie White; his grandchildren, AustinTownsend, Emaleigh Tyler, Nina White, Brianee Franklin, ZacharyFranklin, Christopher Franklin, Travis Smith, Elizabeth Cliburn andMichael Cliburn; and his special friends, Jimmy and TashaMoore.
