BA’s Parvin earns MVP

Tyler Parvin and his Brookhaven Academy teammates marched intohistory last month, winning the MAIS Class AA State BaseballChampionship. Parvin was instrumental in the team’s success, eitheron the mound, at the plate or in the field.
For his performance, Parvin has been selected The DAILY LEADER’sMost Valuable Player and Mr. Baseball on the 2010 All-LincolnCounty Team.
In an impressive campaign the Brookhaven Academy Cougars collectedtwo more special awards. Pitcher Tripp Jolly was chosen MostValuable Defensive player and centerfielder Bubba Keene was namedCo-Most Valuable Offensive Player, sharing the honor with ScottiePeavey of Brookhaven.
