Services for Christopher “Chris” Williams, of Brookhaven, are2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel.

Visitation is Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of theservice at the funeral home.

Mr. Williams, 35, died May 2, 2010, at his residence. He was bornin on Sept. 12, 1974.

He was a medical laboratory technician and a member of the Baptistfaith. He was a well-accomplished musician

Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Tommie andNina Avants; his paternal grandparents, James Byrd Williams andSarah Ruth Williams; and his uncle, Michael Lee Avants.

Survivors are his father, Jackie C. Williams; his mother, DeborahAvants Williams; his brother, Jackie Kyle Williams and wife Ashley;his niece, Ella Sarah Williams; and numerous friends and familymembers, who loved him dearly.
