Jackets jump on Bogue Chitto

Senior pitcher Jarrett Todd struck out 10 batters, walked fiveand scattered five hits in leading the Enterprise Yellow Jackets toan 11-7 Tuesday night victory against neighboring Bogue Chitto.Todd got support from Garrett Greer to homered and singled in thevictory.
“We got a good pitching performance from Jarrett,” said Enterprisecoach Cass Brister. “We played well early but we didn’t finish thegame the way I wish would have.”
Brister’s Jackets raised their record to 7-12 overall. They are 4-5in the Region 6-2A race.
Enterprise erased a 3-0 Bobcat lead with four runs in the bottom ofthe first inning. The Jackets led 11-3 after four frames.
“We played well tonight,” said BC first-year boss Jody Britt. “Ourplayers showed a lot of fight to battle back. We never gaveup.”
Britt’s Bobcats reduced their deficit to 11-6 with a 3-runfifth.
Losing pitcher Hunter Ginn (2 K, 2 BB) hit five batters beforeBrock Roberts (1 K, 1 BB) replaced him on the mound.
The Bobcats fell to 6-13 overall and remain 1-5 in the Division7-1A race.
Offensively, Ginn led BC with two singles. Michael Martindoubled.
Junior Varsity Results
Enterprise beat the Bobcats 13-5 in the preliminary JV game.
