Services for Estus Brown Jr., of Monticello, are 2:30 p.m.Saturday, Dec. 12, at Oak Grove M.B. Church in Monticello withburial in the church cemetery. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 6 until 7 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Brown, 79, died Dec. 4, 2009, at Monticello Community CareCenter in Monticello. He was born in Monticello on Sept. 5, 1930,to Estus Brown Sr. and Alice Evans Brown.

He was a former body shop painter.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Helen Brown;a son, Dallas Bennett; and a daughter, Pastel Bennett.

Survivors are his sons, Hearty Bennett and Johnnie Bennett, bothof Monticello; a brother, William Dollison, of Jackson; hissisters, Estereen Copeland and Susie Syfax, both of Detroit, Mich.;his 11 grandchildren; and his several great-grandchildren.
