Services for Ora Lee “Red” Washington, of Union Church, are 11a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Hickory Block United Methodist Church inUnion Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 5 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mrs. Washington, 90, died Nov. 3, 2009, at Franklin CountyMemorial Hospital. She was born in Jefferson County on May 10,1919, to John Lynch McNair and Julia Ann Buie.

She was retired. She was a member of Hickory Block UnitedMethodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband,Freddie Thompson.

Survivors are a godson, Dr. Vic Wyatt, of Pennsylvania; and hermany nieces, nephews and other relatives.
