Services for Ruby E. Katzes were held at James F. Webb FuneralHome Chapel on Saturday, Aug. 22, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. ClaudeFleming officiating.

Burial was in Jackson at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Katzes, 86, died at Riley Hospital Aug. 18.

She was a member of College Park United Methodist Church. Sheloved the Lord. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sisterand devoted friend to many people throughout her life. She trulypersonified pure and unselfish love.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann Clodfelter and husband,Philip, of Aurora, Colo.; a son, Wilber Katzes Jr. and wife,Claudia, of Meridian; her grandchildren, Kim Hill and husband,Steve, of Meridian, Ben Clodfelter, of Denver, Colo., AnneClodfelter, of Greeley, Colo., Chris Katzes and wife, Amy, ofLaurel, and Greg Dawkins, of Meridian; her great-grandchildren,Averi Hill, Jacob Hill, Alexis Hill and Hayden Dawkins; a sister,Hasseltine Bounds and husband, Buster, of Brookhaven; a brother,Shelton Williams and wife, Audrey, of Brookhaven; a brother-in-law,the Rev. Robert Kates, of Pascagoula.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilber Katzes Sr.;three brothers; and a sister.

Visitation was Saturday two hours prior to service at thefuneral home.

Pallbearers were Jerry Farmer, Gene McCarty, Jediah Williams andSteve Hill.
