Services for Stephen Corley, of New Orleans, La., were 11 a.m.Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Willie Mae Tyler Memorial Chapel in R.E.Tyler Funeral Home in Brookhaven with burial in Friendship Cemeteryin Brookhaven.

Mr. Corley, 56, died Aug. 8, 2009, at Tulane University MedicalCenter in New Orleans. He was born in Brookhaven on Oct. 15, 1952,to Hosea Corley Jr. and Samantha Ball Corley.

He was employed by the U.S. Department of Labor in the VeteransAdministration Division for unemployed veterans at the employmentagency in Chalmette, La. He served in the U.S. Air Force.

Preceding him in death were his father; and a brother, ThomasEarl Corley.

Survivors are his mother, Samantha Ball Corley, of Brookhaven; adaughter, Stephanie Corley, of New Orleans; his brothers, LionelCorley and Calvin Corley, both of New Orleans, and Ronald Corley,of Brookhaven; and his sisters, Ethelena Bolen, of New Orleans, andJacqueline Ann Corley, of Brookhaven.
