Services for Geraldine Buitt McFall, of Ridgecrest, La., are 2p.m. Monday, May 11, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services withburial in Stewart Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.

Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. McFall, 68, died May 7, 2009, at her residence. She wasborn on Aug. 9, 1940, to Jim Buitt and Ruth Richardson.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Ridgecrest BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Marvin McFall; hermother, Ruth Buitt Jackson; her father, Jim Buitt; and herbrothers, David Buitt, Leon Buitt and Pearlie Buitt.

Survivors are her son, Jack McFall; her daughters, Letha Taylorand husband, Randy, of Vidalia, La., and Lena Guthrie; her specialdaughter, Lisa Gentry; her brothers, Robert Buitt, Sylvester Buitt,Charles Buitt and Marvin Buitt; her sisters, Martha Sanford, NitaLusk, Emma Jean Smith and Ann Caves; her grandchildren, GaryGuthrie Jr. and wife, Christine, Jessica Davis and husband, John,Destiny McFall, Haley Kepper and Amanda Cummings; hergreat-grandchildren, Zachary, Zoey, Zayden, Kaiser and Jonah; andher special granddaughter, Amy Gentry.

Mary B. Taylor

Services for Mary B. Taylor, of Richland, are 11 a.m. Monday,May 11, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence with burial inLakewood Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from 2 until 5 p.m. and Monday from 9:30a.m. until the time of the service. Both visitation services willbe held at the funeral home.

Mrs. Taylor, 93, died May 9, 2009, at River Oaks Hospital inFlowood. She was a native of Drew.

She was of the Baptist faith. She had lived in thePlain/Richland area since 1969. She and her husband owned andoperated the Broadway Cafe in this area for a number of years. Shewas a member of the Morning Star Order of the Eastern Star and ofthe Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW.

Preceding her in death were her three husbands, G.D. Broadway,J.W. Spruill and Carlie Taylor.

Survivors are her daughters, Jane Spruill, of Brookhaven, andDot Scott and husband, Tom, of Fannin; her son, Tom Broadway andwife, Jane, of Florence; nine grandchildren; 14great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff ofBriar Hill Nursing Home for their years of love and care.
