Services for Annie Marie Short Letchworth, of Monticello, are 2p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at Wanilla Baptist Church in Wanilla withburial in the church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Letchworth, 85, died March 8, 2009, at Lawrence CountyNursing Center in Monticello. She was born in Lincoln County onJune 17, 1923, to Thomas Hawkins Short and Shelly Bass Short.

She was a lifelong resident of Monticello. Mrs. Letchworth was aretired garment worker for Kellwood factory in Monticello. She wasa member of Wanilla Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Thomas LeeLetchworth; a son, Maxie Ray Letchworth; and her threebrothers.

Survivors are her sons, Charles Letchworth, of Hattiesburg,Alton Letchworth, of Monticello, and Jerrell Letchworth, ofBrookhaven; her daughters, Shirley Headly, of Hattiesburg, andCeleste Lambert, of Brandon; her 15 grandchildren; her 23great-grandchildren; and her 11 great-great-grandchildren.
